Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ الْمُعَلِّمُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ، لَا يُؤْمِنُ عَبْدٌ حَتَّى يُحِبَّ لِأَخِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ لِنَفْسِهِ مِنَ، ، الْخَيْرِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: None of you can be a (true) Muslim until he likes for his brother what he likes for himself.
