حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، وَرَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مَرْوَانَ، مَوْلَى هِنْدِ ابْنَةِ الْمُهَلَّبِ، قَالَ رَوْحٌ: أَرْسَلَتْنِي هِنْدٌ إِلَى أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، (٦) فِي حَاجَةٍ،، ، فَسَمِعْتُهُ يُحَدِّثُ أَصْحَابَهُ، أَنَّهُ " سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَهَى عَنِ الْوِصَالِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Marwan, who was the freed slave of Hind bint Muhallab, says: Hind sent me to Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) for some of her work, so I heard him narrating this hadith to his companions: The Prophet (ﷺ) forbade continuous fasting (without breaking the fast at sunset for several days).
