حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو هِلَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا يَزَالُ الْعَبْدُ بِخَيْرٍ مَا لَمْ يَسْتَعْجِلْ ". قَالُوا: يَا نَبِيَّ اللهِ، كَيْفَ يَسْتَعْجِلُ؟ قَالَ: " يَقُولُ دَعَوْتُ رَبِّي فَلَمْ يَسْتَجِبْ لِي " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: A servant remains on goodness as long as he does not act with haste. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked: O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! What is meant by haste? He replied: That a servant begins to say, "I have made so many supplications to my Lord, but He has not accepted them."
