حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، وَحَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ نَخْلًا لِأُمِّ مُبَشِّرٍ امْرَأَةٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، فَقَالَ: " مَنْ غَرَسَ هَذَا الْغَرْسَ، أَمُسْلِمٌ أَمْ كَافِرٌ؟ " قَالُوا: مُسْلِمٌ، قَالَ: " لَا يَغْرِسُ مُسْلِمٌ غَرْسًا فَيَأْكُلُ مِنْهُ إِنْسَانٌ أَوْ دَابَّةٌ أَوْ طَائِرٌ، إِلَّا كَانَ لَهُ صَدَقَةً " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) went to the garden of an Ansari woman named Mubashir and asked, "Has this garden been planted by a Muslim or a disbeliever?" The people replied, "A Muslim." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whenever a Muslim plants a tree, and any bird, human, or animal eats from it, it is regarded as charity for him."
