Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا حُمَيْدٌ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ أُمَّ سُلَيْمٍ وَلَدَتْ غُلَامًا مِنْ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، فَبَعَثَتْ بِهِ مَعَ ابْنِهَا أَنَسٍ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، " فَحَنَّكَهُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a child was born to Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him) at the house of Umm Sulaim (may Allah be pleased with her). She sent the child to the Prophet (ﷺ) with her son Anas, and the Prophet (ﷺ) performed tahneek for him.
