حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَتَى عَلَى أَزْوَاجِهِ وَسَوَّاقٌ يَسُوقُ بِهِنَّ، يُقَالُ لَهُ: أَنْجَشَةُ فَقَالَ: " وَيْحَكَ يَا أَنْجَشَةُ، رُوَيْدَكَ (٣) سَوْقَكَ، ، بِالْقَوَارِيرِ " قَالَ أَبُو قِلَابَةَ: " تَكَلَّمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، بِكَلِمَةٍ لَوْ تَكَلَّمَ بِهَا بَعْضُكُمْ لَعِبْتُمُوهَا عَلَيْهِ "، - يَعْنِي قَوْلَهُ: سَوْقَكَ بِالْقَوَارِيرِ - (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man, whose name was Anjasha, was driving the mounts of the Mothers of the Believers. He began to drive the animals quickly. Upon this, the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Anjasha! Drive these glass vessels gently."
