حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَنْ كَسْبِ الْحَجَّامِ، قَالَ: احْتَجَمَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، حَجَمَهُ أَبُو طَيْبَةَ، فَأَمَرَ لَهُ بِصَاعَيْنِ (٣) مِنْ شَعِيرٍ،، ، وَكَلَّمَ مَوَالِيَهُ أَنْ يُخَفِّفُوا عَنْهُ ضَرِيبَتَهُ، وَقَالَ: " أَمْثَلُ مَا تَدَاوَيْتُمْ بِهِ الْحِجَامَةُ، وَالْقُسْطُ الْبَحْرِيُّ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a person asked about the wages for cupping. He replied that Abu Taybah performed cupping for the Prophet (ﷺ), and the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered that he be given two sa’ of barley, and he spoke to his master, so he reduced his share. And he said: The best treatment is cupping and the use of Indian costus.
