حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يَقُولُ: " بَعَثَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَاجَةٍ، فَجِئْتُ وَهُوَ يَأْكُلُ تَمْرًا وَهُوَ مُقْعٍ " (٢)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) sent me for some task of his. When I returned, the Prophet (ﷺ) was sitting squatting and eating dates.
