حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، وَحَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يُحَدِّثُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُحِبُّ الدُّبَّاءَ " - قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ: الْقَرْعَ -، قَالَ: فَأُتِيَ بِطَعَامٍ - أَوْ دُعِيَ لَهُ - قَالَ أَنَسٌ فَجَعَلْتُ أَتَتَبَّعُهُ، فَأَضَعُهُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ لِمَا أَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ يُحِبُّهُ (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) was very fond of pumpkin. Once, food was presented to the Prophet (ﷺ) or someone invited him, so since I knew that the Prophet (ﷺ) liked pumpkin, I kept separating it and placing it before the Prophet (ﷺ).
