Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Jewish boy used to bring water for ablution for the Prophet (ﷺ) and would carry his shoes. Once, the boy fell ill. The Prophet (ﷺ) went to visit him, and his father was sitting by his head. The Prophet (ﷺ) advised him to recite the Kalimah. The boy looked at his father, who remained silent. The Prophet (ﷺ) repeated his words, and again the boy looked at his father. His father said, "Obey Abul Qasim (ﷺ)." So the boy recited the Kalimah. When the Prophet (ﷺ) left from there, he was saying, "All praise is due to Allah who saved him from the Fire because of me."
