حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ جَمَعَ الْأَنْصَارَ، فَقَالَ: " هَلْ فِيكُمْ أَحَدٌ مِنْ غَيْرِكُمْ؟ " قَالُوا: لَا، إِلَّا ابْنَ أُخْتٍ، ، لَنَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " ابْنُ أُخْتِ الْقَوْمِ مِنْ أَنْفُسِهِمْ " - أَوْ قَالَ: " مِنَ الْقَوْمِ " - قَالَ: (١) فَذَكَرْتُ ذَلِكَ لِمُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، فَحَدَّثَنِي عَنْ أَنَسٍ (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) gathered the Ansari companions (may Allah be pleased with them) and asked them, "Is there anyone among you besides the Ansar?" They replied, "No, except that we have a nephew." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A nephew of a people is counted among them."
