Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، قَالَ: شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنَاهُ عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: " دَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَسِمُ غَنَمًا - قَالَ هِشَامٌ أَحْسَبُهُ قَالَ: فِي آذَانِهَا - قَالَ: ثُمَّ قَالَ:، ، بَعْدُ فِي آذَانِهَا، وَلَمْ يَشُكَّ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I came to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ) and saw that he (ﷺ) was branding the ear of a goat.
