حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي سَعِيدٌ يَعْنِي الْمَقْبُرِيَّ، عَنْ شَرِيكِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي نَمِرٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَامَ فَحَذَّرَ النَّاسَ. فَقَامَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: مَتَى السَّاعَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ فَبَسَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي وَجْهِهِ. فَقُلْنَا لَهُ: اقْعُدْ، فَإِنَّكَ قَدْ سَأَلْتَ رَسُولَ اللهِ مَا يَكْرَهُ، ثُمَّ قَامَ الثَّانِيَةَ، فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ: مَتَى السَّاعَةُ؟ قَالَ: فَبَسَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي وَجْهِهِ أَشَدَّ مِنَ الْأُولَى، قَالَ: فَأَجْلَسْنَاهُ، قَالَ: ثُمَّ قَامَ الثَّالِثَةَ، فَقَالَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ: مَتَى السَّاعَةُ؟ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " وَيْحَكَ، وَمَا أَعْدَدْتَ لَهَا؟ " قَالَ الرَّجُلُ: أَعْدَدْتُ لَهَا حُبَّ اللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ. فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " اجْلِسْ، فَإِنَّكَ مَعَ مَنْ أَحْبَبْتَ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (ﷺ) stood up and warned the people. In the meantime, a man stood up and asked, "O Messenger of Allah! When will the Hour (Day of Judgment) come?" Signs of displeasure appeared on the blessed face of the Prophet (ﷺ), so we said to him, "Sit down, you have asked the Prophet (ﷺ) a question which he did not like." This happened three times in the same way. Finally, the Prophet (ﷺ) asked him, "O brother! What preparation have you made for the Hour?" He replied, "I have prepared that I love Allah and His Messenger." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You will be with the one you love on the Day of Judgment."
