Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that some people from the tribes of ‘Ukl and ‘Uraynah became Muslim, but the climate of Madinah did not suit them. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to them, “If you go to our camels and drink their milk, perhaps you will recover.” So they did so, but when they became healthy, they reverted to disbelief and apostatized. They killed the Muslim shepherd of the Prophet (ﷺ) and drove away the Prophet’s camels. The Prophet (ﷺ) sent companions after them, and they were captured and brought before the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) ordered that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides, their eyes be branded with hot irons, and they were left in the rocky area until they died.
