حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو كَامِلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، " أَنَّهُ أَبْصَرَ فِي يَدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمًا مِنْ، ، وَرِقٍ يَوْمًا وَاحِدًا، فَصَنَعَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَ مِنْ وَرِقٍ " قَالَ: " فَطَرَحَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَاتَمَهُ، وَطَرَحَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَهُمْ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that one day he saw a silver ring in the hand of the Prophet (ﷺ). Seeing the Prophet (ﷺ), people also had silver rings made. Upon this, the Prophet (ﷺ) took off his ring and threw it away, and the people also took off and threw away their rings.
