حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْحَارِثُ بْنُ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، " أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ، فَنَظَرَ إِلَى جُدُرَاتِ الْمَدِينَةِ، أَوْضَعَ نَاقَتَهُ، وَإِنْ كَانَ عَلَى دَابَّةٍ حَرَّكَهَا مِنْ حُبِّهَا " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) would return from a journey and his eyes would fall upon the walls of Madinah, he would dismount from his ride, and if he remained on the ride, he would hasten its pace out of love for Madinah.
