Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ أَبَانَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ رَوَاحَةَ يَقُولُ: حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ، " أَنَّهُ لَمْ يَرَ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى الضُّحَى قَطُّ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَخْرُجَ فِي سَفَرٍ، أَوْ يَقْدَمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that I did not see the Prophet (ﷺ) performing the Duha prayer except when he was setting out on a journey or returning from a journey.
