Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا جَعْفَرٌ يَعْنِي الْأَحْمَرَ، عَنْ، ، عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " رَاصُّوا الصُّفُوفَ، فَإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ (١) يَقُومُ فِي الْخَلَلِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Fill the rows, for the devils enter into the gaps in between."
