Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، أَنَّ أَنَسًا حَدَّثَهُ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ اسْتَقْبَلَهُ نِسَاءٌ وَصِبْيَانٌ وَخَدَمٌ جَائِينَ مِنْ عُرْسٍ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ، فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِمْ وَقَالَ: " وَاللهِ إِنِّي لَأُحِبُّكُمْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once some women, children, and servants of the Ansar were passing by the Prophet (ﷺ) as they were returning from a wedding. The Prophet (ﷺ) greeted them with salam and said, "By Allah! I love you people."
