Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِذَا نَعَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ وَهُوَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ، فَلْيَنْصَرِفْ، فَلْيَنَمْ حَتَّى يَعْلَمَ مَا يَقُولُ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: When any of you becomes drowsy while praying, he should go back and sleep until he knows what he is saying.
