حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرُ بْنُ حَازِمٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ أَنَسًا، عَنْ شَعْرِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " كَانَ شَعْرُهُ رَجِلًا لَيْسَ بِالْجَعْدِ، وَلَا بِالسَّبْطِ، كَانَ بَيْنَ أُذُنَيْهِ وَعَاتِقِهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Qatadah (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) about the hair of the Prophet (ﷺ), so he replied: The hair of the Prophet (ﷺ) was lightly curly, neither very curly nor very straight, and it would reach between his ears and his shoulders.
