حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " الْإِسْلَامُ عَلَانِيَةٌ، وَالْإِيمَانُ فِي الْقَلْبِ " قَالَ: ثُمَّ يُشِيرُ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى صَدْرِهِ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ قَالَ: ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: " التَّقْوَى هَاهُنَا، التَّقْوَى هَاهُنَا " (١)، ،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) used to say: Islam is the name of what is apparent, and faith is in the heart. Then, pointing towards his chest three times, he said: Taqwa is here.
