حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: ذَكَرَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْكَبَائِرَ، أَوْ سُئِلَ عَنِ الْكَبَائِرِ، فَقَالَ: " الشِّرْكُ بِاللهِ، وَقَتْلُ النَّفْسِ، وَعُقُوقُ، ، الْوَالِدَيْنِ " وَقَالَ: " أَلَا أُنَبِّئُكُمْ بِأَكْبَرِ الْكَبَائِرِ " قَالَ: " قَوْلُ الزُّورِ، أَوْ قَالَ: شَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ " قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: أَكْبَرُ ظَنِّي أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " شَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ), while mentioning the major sins, said: They are these—associating partners with Allah, unjustly killing, disobedience to parents. And he said: Shall I not tell you the greatest of the major sins? That is false speech or false testimony.
