حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ، وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ شُعْبَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ يُحَدِّثُ، " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُصَلِّي فِي مَرَابِضِ الْغَنَمِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُبْنَى الْمَسْجِدُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that before the construction of the Prophet’s Mosque, the Prophet (ﷺ) used to offer prayers in a goat enclosure as well.
