حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ: حَدَّثَنَا أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " بُعِثْتُ أَنَا وَالسَّاعَةُ كَهَاتَيْنِ " قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: وَسَمِعْتُ قَتَادَةَ يَقُولُ: فِي قِصَصِهِ كَفَضْلِ إِحْدَاهُمَا عَلَى الْأُخْرَى، فَلَا أَدْرِي ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَمْ قَالَهُ قَتَادَةُ (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: I and the Hour (Day of Judgment) have been sent like these two fingers together. (Saying this, the Prophet (ﷺ) pointed towards his index finger and middle finger.)
