حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ - يَعْنِي الرِّشْكَ - عَنْ، ، مُعَاذَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَمْرٍو ابْنَةِ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، يَقُولُ:، سَمِعَتْ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ، يَقُولُ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " مَنْ يَلْبَسِ الْحَرِيرَ فِي الدُّنْيَا، فَلا يُكْسَاهُ فِي الْآخِرَةِ " (١) .،
Translation
English translation
Abdullah bin az-Zubair said:
I heard 'Umar bin al-Khattab رضي الله عنه say in his khutbah that he heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: ` Whoever wears silk in this world will not be clothed with it in the Hereafter.`
