حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ حَارِثَةَ خَرَجَ نَظَّارًا، فَأَتَاهُ سَهْمٌ فَقَتَلَهُ، فَقَالَتْ أُمُّهُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، قَدْ عَرَفْتَ مَوْقِعَ حَارِثَةَ مِنِّي، فَإِنْ كَانَ فِي الْجَنَّةِ صَبَرْتُ، وَإِلَّا رَأَيْتَ مَا أَصْنَعُ. قَالَ: " يَا أُمَّ حَارِثَةَ إِنَّهَا لَيْسَتْ بِجَنَّةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ، وَلَكِنَّهَا جِنَانٌ كَثِيرَةٌ، وَإِنَّ حَارِثَةَ لَفِي أَفْضَلِهَا " أَوْ قَالَ: " فِي أَعَلَى الْفِرْدَوْسِ شَكَّ يَزِيدُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once Haritha (may Allah be pleased with him) went out for a walk, and on the way, a sudden arrow struck him from somewhere and he was martyred. His mother presented herself in the court of the Messenger (ﷺ) and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! You know how much I loved Haritha. If he is in Paradise, I will be patient, otherwise, you will see what I do." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "O Umm Haritha! Paradise is not just one; there are many Paradises, and Haritha is in the most excellent of them."
