Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) migrated, the Prophet (ﷺ) was sitting in front on the mount and Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) was behind. Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) knew the routes because he used to travel to Syria. Whenever they passed by a group and the people asked, "Abu Bakr! Who is this sitting in front of you?" he would reply, "He is a guide who is guiding me." When they neared Madinah Munawwarah, they sent a message to the Ansari companions who had embraced Islam, Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) and his companions. They came to serve both of them and said, "Both of you may enter Madinah in peace and security; you will be obeyed." Thus, both of them entered Madinah Munawwarah. Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) says, "I have never seen a day brighter and more beautiful than the day when the Prophet (ﷺ) and Siddiq Akbar (may Allah be pleased with him) entered Madinah Munawwarah, and I have also witnessed the day of the Prophet's (ﷺ) departure from this world, and I have never seen a day darker and more dreadful than that day."
