حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: أَهْدَى الْأُكَيْدِرُ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ جَرَّةً مِنْ مَنٍّ، فَلَمَّا انْصَرَفَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ، مَرَّ عَلَى الْقَوْمِ، ، فَجَعَلَ يُعْطِي كُلَّ رَجُلٍ مِنْهُمْ قِطْعَةً، فَأَعْطَى جَابِرًا قِطْعَةً، ثُمَّ إِنَّهُ رَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ فَأَعْطَاهُ قِطْعَةً أُخْرَى، فَقَالَ: إِنَّكَ قَدْ أَعْطَيْتَنِي مَرَّةً، قَالَ: " هَذَا لِبَنَاتِ عَبْدِ اللهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that Akid of Rome sent a jar of "man" to the service of the Prophet (ﷺ). After finishing the prayer, the Prophet (ﷺ) passed by a group and began to give each man among them a portion. Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) was also among them, and the Prophet (ﷺ) gave him a portion as well. Then, after some time, he returned to him and gave him another portion. He said, "You have already given me once." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "This is for the daughters of Abdullah (your sisters)."
