حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الطَّائِيِّ، حَدَّثَنِي بُشَيْرُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ قَالَ: جَاءَ أَنَسٌ إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ، فَقُلْنَا لَهُ: مَا أَنْكَرْتَ مِنَّا مِنْ عَهْدِ نَبِيِّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَقَالَ: " مَا أَنْكَرْتُ مِنْكُمْ شَيْئًا غَيْرَ أَنَّكُمْ لَا تُقِيمُونَ صُفُوفَكُمْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Bashir bin Yasar (may Allah have mercy on him) says that once we asked Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), "What change do you perceive between the conditions of the Prophetic era and our conditions?" He replied, "What amazes me is that you people do not straighten your rows."
