Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " دَخَلْتُ الْجَنَّةَ فَسَمِعْتُ بَيْنَ يَدَيَّ (١) خَشْفَةً، فَإِذَا أَنَا بِالْغُمَيْصَاءِ بِنْتِ مِلْحَانَ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: I entered Paradise and heard the sound of footsteps ahead of me. I looked and it was Ghumaisa bint Milhan (who was the mother of Anas, may Allah be pleased with him).
