حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ،، ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ اللهَ لَيَرْضَى عَنِ الْعَبْدِ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الْأُكْلَةَ، فَيَحْمَدَ اللهَ عَلَيْهَا، أَوْ يَشْرَبَ الشَّرْبَةَ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah Almighty becomes pleased with His servant even on such a small thing that he eats a morsel of food or drinks a sip of water and then thanks Allah for it.
