Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ الْأَزْرَقُ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، وَيَزِيدَ بْنِ هَارُونَ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ نَسِيَ صَلَاةً أَوْ نَامَ عَنْهَا، فَإِنَّمَا كَفَّارَتُهَا أَنْ يُصَلِّيَهَا إِذَا ذَكَرَهَا " قَالَ، ، يَزِيدُ: " فَكَفَّارَتُهَا أَنْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever forgets to perform a prayer or sleeps through it, its expiation is only that he should offer it when he remembers.
