Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا مُعْتَمِرٌ، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِذَا سَقَطَتْ لُقْمَةُ أَحَدِكُمْ فَلْيَأْخُذْهَا، وَلْيَمْسَحْ مَا بِهَا مِنَ الْأَذَى، وَلَا يَدَعْهَا لِلشَّيْطَانِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: When a morsel falls from the hand of any one of you, he should remove whatever has stuck to it and not leave it for Satan.
