Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him): On the day of the Battle of Khaybar, we found some donkeys. The pots were still boiling when the Prophet (ﷺ) asked us, "What kind of meat is this?" We replied, "Donkey meat." The Prophet (ﷺ) asked, "Domesticated or wild?" We replied, "Domesticated donkeys." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Turn over these pots." So we turned them over, even though we were hungry at that time and felt the need for food.
