حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، (٢) حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو (٣) بْنِ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَقُولُ: " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمُلَامَسَةِ، وَالْمُلَامَسَةُ: يُمَسُّ الثَّوْبُ لَا يُنْظَرُ إِلَيْهِ، وَعَنِ الْمُنَابَذَةِ: وَهُوَ طَرْحُ الثَّوْبِ الرَّجُلُ بِالْبَيْعِ، قَبْلَ أَنْ يُقَلِّبَهُ وَيَنْظُرَ إِلَيْهِ " (٤)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade the sale of Mulamasa, which is when a person touches a cloth without properly examining it (and he has to buy it). He also forbade the sale of Munabadha, which is when a person looks at clothes or something similar and, before properly turning it over and examining it, throws it towards the buyer.
