Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ (٢) ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ " أَنَّهُ رَأَى الطِّينَ فِي أَنْفِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَأَرْنَبَتِهِ مِنْ أَثَرِ السُّجُودِ، وَكَانُوا مُطِرُوا مِنَ اللَّيْلِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once he saw that there were marks of mud on the nose and forehead of the Prophet (ﷺ), because it had rained during the night.
