Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: The awe and fear of people should not prevent any of you from speaking the truth, when he himself sees it, witnesses it, or hears it. Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) says: So many trials came upon us that we began to fall short in this regard, although we would reach (participate in) evil deeds.
