حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، أَنَّ رَافِعَ بْنَ إِسْحَاقَ، أَخْبَرَهُ قَالَ: دَخَلْتُ أَنَا وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ عَلَى أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ نَعُودُهُ فَقَالَ لَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ: أَخْبَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " أَنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ لَا تَدْخُلُ بَيْتًا فِيهِ تَمَاثِيلُ، أَوْ صُورَةٌ " شَكَّ إِسْحَاقُ لَا يَدْرِي أَيَّتَهُمَا قَالَ، ، أَبُو سَعِيدٍ (١)،
Translation
English translation
Rafi' bin Ishaq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that I and Abdullah bin Abi Talhah once went to visit Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) at his house when he was ill. He said to us that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The angels of mercy do not enter a house in which there are pictures or statues."
