حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ سُهَيْلِ بْنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ أَبِي عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، بَاعَدَ اللهُ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ النَّارِ مَسِيرَةَ سَبْعِينَ خَرِيفًا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever fasts for one day in the way of Allah, Allah, due to the blessing of that day, will keep him seventy years' distance away from Hell.
