حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ حَبِيبِ بْنِ أَبِي ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ الْمِشْرَقِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَدِيثٍ ذَكَرَهُ: " قَوْمٌ (١) يَخْرُجُونَ عَلَى فُرْقَةٍ مِنَ النَّاسِ مُخْتَلِفَةٍ، يَقْتُلُهُمْ أَقْرَبُ الطَّائِفَتَيْنِ إِلَى الْحَقِّ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: My ummah will be divided into two factions, and a group will emerge between these two, which will be killed by the faction that is closer to the truth among the two.
