حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، قَالَ: مُجَالِدٌ أَخْبَرَنَا، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَدَّاكِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " ثَلَاثَةٌ يَضْحَكُ اللهُ إِلَيْهِمْ: الرَّجُلُ يَقُومُ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ، وَالْقَوْمُ إِذَا صَفُّوا لِلصَّلَاةِ، (١) وَالْقَوْمُ إِذَا صَفُّوا لِلْقِتَالِ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Allah laughs at three types of people: one is the person who stands up at night to pray, the second are those who form rows for prayer, and the third are those who form rows for jihad.
