حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ مَوْلًى لِأَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَشَدَّ حَيَاءً، ، مِنْ عَذْرَاءَ فِي خِدْرِهَا، وَكَانَ إِذَا كَرِهَ شَيْئًا، عُرِفَ فِي وَجْهِهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) was more modest than a veiled virgin girl, and when something displeased him, we would recognize it from his blessed face.
