حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ عَنِ الْعَزْلِ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سُئِلَ عَنْ ذَلِكَ، فَقَالَ: " أَنْتَ تَخْلُقُهُ؟ أَنْتَ تَرْزُقُهُ؟ أَقِرَّهُ قَرَارَهُ، أَوْ مَقَرَّهُ، فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ الْقَدَرُ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ), while discussing "azl" (withdrawal), said: Will you create this newborn? Will you provide sustenance for it? Allah has placed it in its abode, so this is a part of destiny, and this is destiny.
