حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا دَرَّاجٌ، عَنْ أَبِي الْهَيْثَمِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " اسْتَكْثِرُوا مِنَ الْبَاقِيَاتِ الصَّالِحَاتِ " قِيلَ: وَمَا هِيَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " الْمِلَّةُ "، قِيلَ: وَمَا هِيَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " الْمِلَّةُ "، قِيلَ: وَمَا هِيَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " التَّكْبِيرُ، وَالتَّهْلِيلُ، وَالتَّسْبِيحُ، وَالتَّحْمِيدُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Do abundantly the 'Baqiyat Salihat'." Someone asked, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! What is meant by that?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Millat." Someone asked, "What is meant by that?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Millat." Upon being asked a third time, he said, "It means saying Takbeer, Tahleel, Tasbeeh, Tahmeed, and La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah."
