حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، قَالَ: أَنْبَأَنَا (١) عَبْدُ اللهِ، وعَتَّاب (٢) قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، أَنْبَأَنَا (١) يُونُسُ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيَّ يَقُولُ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يَنْهَى عَنْ اخْتِنَاثِ الْأَسْقِيَةِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade turning a waterskin upside down, making a hole in it, and drinking water from its mouth by putting one's mouth to it.
