حَدَّثَنَا سُرَيْجٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى عَنْ اسْتِئْجَارِ الْأَجِيرِ حَتَّى يُبَيَّنَ أَجْرُهُ، وَعَنِ النَّجْشِ، وَاللَّمْسِ، وَإِلْقَاءِ الْحَجَرِ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) forbade employing anyone for wages until his wage was made clear, and he also forbade deception in trade, and selling with the condition of touching (the goods) or throwing a stone.
