حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، وَسَعِيدٌ الْجُرَيْرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي نَضْرَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الضِّيَافَةُ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ، فَمَا كَانَ بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَهُوَ صَدَقَةٌ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: Hospitality is for three days, after that whatever is given is charity.
