حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيِّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ: " مَا بَالُ أَقْوَامٍ تَقُولُ: إِنَّ رَحِمَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَا تَنْفَعُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَاللهِ إِنَّ رَحِمِي لَمَوْصُولَةٌ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ، وَإِنِّي أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ فَرَطٌ لَكُمْ عَلَى الْحَوْضِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that I once heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying on this pulpit: "What is the matter with people who go around saying that the Prophet's (ﷺ) kinship will not benefit people? By Allah, my kinship will remain great in both this world and the Hereafter. And O people! I will be waiting for you at the Hawd (Pond) of Kawthar."
