Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Prophet (ﷺ) ordered us to stone Ma'iz bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him), we took him towards Baqi'. By Allah, we neither dug a pit for him nor tied him up; he stood by himself. We threw bones and pieces of pottery at him. When he was hurt, he ran and stood in the plain of Harrah. We threw large stones at him until he became lifeless.
